About Sruthi
Sruthi is a classically trained and contemporary-informed dancer with a Master's degree in Choreography from Leeds Beckett University, UK. With over 17 years of rigorous training in Bharatanatyam under Guru Smt. Sumitra Nitin and advanced guidance from Smt. Bragha Bessel and Guru Smt. Gayatri Ramaratnam, Sruthi brings depth and nuance to her classical work.
Her contemporary training includes intensive programs at Nritarutya and Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, where she explored Bharatanatyam, ballet, kalarippayattu, and modern dance techniques. As an apprentice with the internationally acclaimed Navdhara India Dance Theatre, she gained valuable experience in global contemporary dance aesthetics.
Sruthi has performed at esteemed venues and festivals such as Bharat Kalachar, Dasyam, Chinna Kalanadam, Indiranagar Sangeeth Sabha, and more. Her stage presence also extends internationally, having been a lead dancer in the touring musicals Mumbai Star (21-city tour across Japan) and Rajadhiraj (Love. Life. Leela).
With over six years of experience as a Bharatanatyam teacher and certifications as a Yoga Protocol Instructor (Ministry of Ayush, Yoga Alliance), Sruthi is committed to blending tradition with innovation in both performance and pedagogy.

Lead and ensemble roles at major Bharatanatyam festivals (Unnati, Chinna Kalanadam, Marghazi Festival, Dasyam, etc.).
Senior dancer at Silambam School of Dance (Bengaluru) under Guru Smt. Gayatri Ramaratnam.
International tours with musicals Rajadhiraj (global) and Mumbai Star (21 cities in Japan, India 2025).
Performed in Shunya (Navdhara India Dance Theatre, Serendipity Arts Festival 2022).
Collaborated with Nritarutya and The Danceworx; versatile across Bharatanatyam, Contemporary, Jazz, and Commercial dance.

Taught Bharatanatyam to 100+ students (beginner & intermediate).
Designed and delivered dance curriculum for Grades 1–4 at The Valley School, KFI.
Led 50+ workshops in Bharatanatyam, Contemporary dance, and Yoga for diverse age groups.
